Pratanu Banerjee has a family background of Teaching. He is the son of an English Lecturer and reader in English Literature from Jadavpur University. His father Swapan Banerjee had published his thesis Feminism in Modern Drama from a publisher in Delhi. His father had also published his thesis as Ebook from a publisher in Australia. Pratanu Banerjee had helped his father while writing the doctoral thesis in his childhood. He had learnt Music when he was a child at St. Thomas Church School in Howrah. He gained a clear idea about Positive Thinking in adulthood while learning about Reiki from Papiya Bagchi. He had understood the rudiments of Music for 10 years from Mr. Tarak Roy. Mr. Roy was a band member of music computer Sudhin Dasgupta. He had taught him the western staff notation and Indian notation systematically. He had played a critical role in explaining all kinds of musical forms and genre. He developed a structure for teaching Music when he started working in NGOs like Sodpur Srijony Welfare Society. He got inspiration from the music of Mr. Trinesh Dewanjee, Rhitom Sarkar, and others. He got inspired by the music of Mr. V Balsara who taught him Keyboard at Saurabh in Sarat Bose Road in Kolkata. He got a guidance in Harmonica from Mr .Tarak Roy. Pratanu Banerjee had worked on the music project of Sodpur Srijony Welfare Society. His goal is to teach and spread music across India and in different parts of the world. The vision is to teach students online and offline. He followed the reputed institutions and gained a sound understanding of music. He has been a motivator and he had shared motivational videos in youtube. He had inspired students while teaching foreign language like French. His Student, Arnab Kundu had qualified himself for learning in an institute in France. He has helped students of all age groups through different courses.
While earning music
from Mr. Trinesh Dewanjee, Pratanu Banerjee
understood the priority of proper musical training. He developed a vision to
spread music across India using online platform. He came to know the projects of
Music Therapy and the role in solving diseases. He had taken an affiliated from
Srijony Sangeet Kala Kendra of Trinesh Dewanjee and formed Performing Artist
Society. He became the principal of this school.
Pratanu Banerjee has
faith in imparting education online. He started learning while he was studying
at class 2. He gained an experience of teaching music for 9 years at Performing
Artist Society. Students from different districts of West Bengal took part in

Pratanu Banerjee had taught children who are 3 years old. He had
also taught different courses to students who belong to the senior citizens
category. He had played in different areas while travelling with family. He had
played instruments like flute and harmonica in sea beaches of West Bengal,
Murshidabad, Tripura, Varanasi, Uttarakhand, etc. Pratanu Banerjee can create special courses
for students with an aim of spreading education through music.
As Pratanu Banerjee
had learned not only music, he had explored the world of healing. He had learnt
Reiki 1, 2, 3. He gained knowledge of crystal healing, money reiki, karuna
reiki, self hypnosis and emotional empowerment from different reiki
grandmasters in Kolkata. He has confidence in healing both by touch and
distance healing.
He had a dream in childhood
for spreading music among everyone. He started promoting music in the free
classifieds and websites. He also spread music in popular video channel like
Youtube. He had been associated with Sodpur Srijony Welfare Society for five
years. This NGO is dedicated in teaching music to poor students. He came to
know about Music Therapy from this NGO and how to offer music therapy to
students with special needs. He also got guidance on how to provide create a
successful music project for the development of students.
The Music for everyone
has been spread through Performing Artist Society. He gained good idea of
hospital administration while learning Post graduate diploma course in hospital
administration. He completed 14 days of contact program at Apollo Gleneagles in
Kolkata. He also learnt a lot from his project on Patient Satisfaction Survey
at Apollo Clinic at Gariahat. He had taken special permission from the head of Apollo
Clinic named Indraxi Chowdhury. He had combined the effect of music on health
and gave a presentation in youtube on the impact of music therapy.
Pratanu Banerjee is
confident that music can enhance the state of life. It can reduce stress. It can
decrease the pressure of life. It will heal the minds of those who are
depressed. It can give mental support to those who are suffering from mental problems.
Performing Artist Society has been offering education through musical
instruments. The musical instruments taught here are keyboard, harmonica,
flute, Spanish guitar, hawaian guitar, music therapy etc.
Pratanu Banerjee came in touch with Aditya Bikram Chakraborty who is a Trinity Pianist. He had learnt classical piano of Trinity Grade 1 and 2 from him. He also learnt piano from Samar Dutt at his house in Sobhabazar, Kolkata. Aditya Bikram used to give training in cottage piano. Samar Dutt used to provide training in grand piano.
Pratanu
Banerjee came in touch with Mr. Sekhar Biswas at Academy of Fine Arts. He got
an affiliation of World Art Organization and launched Institute of Performing
Art and Mind Power Development. He went to the center at Madhyamgram. He got
affiliated from World Art Organization of Mr. Sekhar Biswas.
